In 1978, D & E Trophies and Awards was established by Earl and Donna Benson. Today, the company is owned and operated by their son, Troy and his wife Sarah. Their trophies are awarded at many events throughout the area including all racing shows at Casino Speedway.

Even though trophies are their business, the Benson's participate any many community charitable events including the American Cancer Society Relay For Life and South Dakota Walk MS. Troy and Sarah are also the principal organizers and fundraisers for the Junevile Diabetes Research Foundation event held every summer at the Casino Speedway. Troy and Sarah reside in Watertown with their three children including a new baby girl born in April 2010.
